Silk bricks are extra wide roving this means the roving allows you to get lots of colour variation throughout the brick and to get good saturation if you are hand dyeing it.

Silk bricks are made by bundling the silk into condensed blocks as shown in the photo that resemble rock stacks or coconuts. Bricks are easy to pull apart and small sections of the silk may be pulled off each brick at a time.
